Seaweed Shreds and Arrowhead Chips

Since Chinese New Year will arrive in a week time, my family already started to prepare for the big day. One thing you never forget is New Year's cookies. So this year, my mum and I decided to bake a few types of cookies. They will be delicious. ^.^ Yes, you heard it right. It's "will", because we just started today and it's not even cookies. I suppose tomorrow only we get started with cookies.

Today, we made seaweed shreds. It's super easy. We just need some popiah skins and some seaweeds. Just sandwich a piece of seaweed in between two pieces of popiah skins. Then, secure the seaweed with some eggs or liquid starch. Then, cut them into strips. Obviously, the last step is to fry them. Easy, huh?

Crispy and tasty.

Another popular snack eaten during Chinese New Year is fried arrowhead chips. I myself enjoy this snack as much as other Chinese do. They actually taste quite unique. But I can assure you; once you try it, you will love it too. ^^

Were made 5 days ago and put in the container.
P/s: I fished some out just to take this pic lol.
