2013 Resolutions

Hello my little bunnies,

This is my quite late resolutions for this year as I've been a little busy coping with my study after I came back from my trip. Still, better late than never right? ^_^

Before we move on, shall we do a quick check on my 2012 resolutions?

:) -- success
:I -- average
:( -- fail
____________

1. Be tidy :(
~ I just get lazy and still left my blankets unfolded everyday.

2. Protecting my hands :I
~ Sometimes I put on lotion when I feel like it.

3. Eat less chocolate :)
~ I can safely said that I'd cut down about 85% of chocolates compared to 2011.

4. Shed excess body weight :)
~ I don't exercise that much, but I often use the sauna. Succeeded in losing some weight.

5. Sleep early and wake up early :)
~ I woke up early for school. By 11 pm, my eyes start to feel droopy and I sleep.

6. Stay happy :)
~ There's a lot of happiness floating around me throughout the year.

7. Quit alcohol :I
~ I drank less than 5 cans of shandy, but tried some vodka when I went to Bali ;p

8. Reduce junk food/fast food intake :)
~ Sometimes I ate chips when I watch movies, but never touch instant noodles even once!

9. Be more conscious :I
~ Often relies on Mum for news. Only do research when I saw news trending on Twitter.

Some of you might say, "why make resolutions if you're just going to fail them?" For me, I feel that if I make my resolutions public, I think I can achieve them much better. In my case, I might have failed to realise some of my resolutions last year. But, I got to credit myself for achieving at least 70% of them *clapping hands*.

In 2013, God bless! We're still alive on this Earth. I guess, the end of the world never happen in 2012 ^_^ Now, let's get my resolutions for 2013 done. It's simple. I'll still want to abide the last year's resolution, but I got to add a few to them.

My main goal for this year is to lose that "bad boys" in my body. As my course is finishing, I should improve my physical appearance for my future job interviewing sake. Got to stay fit and have a bootylicious (Yes BABEH!) body by the year end!

Be diligent in everything. Be it for beauty, study or even work sake, I should be putting extra effort than I do now. Gotta wash my face twice daily, have my hair and nails trimmed regularly, study more, research more and help to clean the house regularly, etc.

To drink more water! I have started doing this for a while and I can feel my body is getting healthier. Mainly is because the water helps to detoxify my body ^.^

Be more soft-spoken lol. This applies to everyone that I interact with. So, everyone got to be ready for my intonation change!

Writing resolutions doesn't mean that we must totally comply to them. It's not like we're going to die if we break our resolutions!! o_O We, as humans, have our cravings or temptations from time to time. It's an open secret. Don't worry, just try to be consistent and disciplined.

Bali Island (part I)

Aloha sweeties,

It's been half a month since I came back from Bali and I have not been touching my blog since "forever" LOL. I promised I'll make up for that. Just be aware that I'll start posting random nonsense real soon. Not sure where to start my story today. Let's just straight away go to the photos from my trip :)

Since it was almost Christmas when I went Bali, there was a lot of places that were very "christmassy". Gotta give extra points for those places. You guys know how I love Christmas!

My brother and I

With my Sour Sally Strawberry Frozen Yogurt ^.^

Random shot of the beach and sunset

Days later, we went to Warung Italia. They sell a variety of hearty Italian food. From meat lasagna to the huge homemade pizza!! A lot of interesting selection there. And since we went for dinner, the lighting inside was so great till we feel very comfortable like we're at home.

Mum and her son ^_^

Caesar Salad

Ravioli

The huge pizza!

See how large the pizza?

Not sure what this is called. But it tastes so good :)

With my Little Aunt

Brother smiling from ear to ear, Mum looking all innocent.
(Now you know where I got my innocent look LOL)

This plate has Meat Lasagna, Spinach Cannelloni, etc.
(We can mix and match the food on our own)

Not to forget...Our Family Photo!

Everyone, you know how my mum like to take my photos :) haha...a little narcissistic here. So below are two photos shot by my mum. Hmm...of course, I myself love to take pictures ^_^

Random posing in front of a boutique

Next, I want you to enjoy the stunning beach in Bali with me! Credit to my brother, Willy for taking those beautiful photos :)

Some other day, my brother and I went to Beachwalk. Remember the last time when I said I went to Beachwalk? I think it was June last year. That time, the construction of Beachwalk was just halfway done. This time, the construction has finished. Beachwalk has become the great high-end shopping mall now. When you go to Bali, you got to visit Beachwalk for sure.

We went to have lunch plus dinner at BonChon Chicken. Basically, this Korean restaurant sells fried chicken. Of course, they also have other mouth-watering menu items.

BonChon's signature chicken wings
(A must try)

Kimchi wrap with fries

I think it was after our meal, the whole family of my uncle's including my mum and lil bro came. We met up and did some shopping ^_^ Also, can I just say I can't have enough of Christmas tree? You will know when you see my photos later...

Uncle's wife with her kids

I didn't even let go of whatever (coconut or palm) tree. That's just how much I love taking pictures, I mean other people take pictures of me :) LOL

 Little brother :)

I smile like a happy retarded girl, but the background is so good to miss.
(Posted it anyway coz' I'm cool just like that LOL)

That's all for today. I'll continue posting about my Bali trip in a few days. Be sure to check them out~!! ^_^

01 December 2012

Hello December!

The deep realisation hits me when I woke up today. It's 1st of December 2012. How the time flies you say? I'd rather believed the time rocketed! I almost couldn't think how I spend my 2012. I just know one thing. 2012 is not a really productive year for me, but it has been a great year after all. I'm happy and thankful for being together with my family ^.^

While still enjoying my holiday, I went to attend my General Paper class today. I'm excited for seeing my friends again, but I don't have the mood to write essay (._.) So you know I went anyway, after finishing the essay, we have like a little fun activity there. We need to describe our friends and vote who got that special features. And I got the most votes when it comes to who has the kind look. I was like, "oh, thank you so much" in my heart. LOL Definitely a memorable experience for me :)

Like many other years, when December comes, I'll get so excited for Christmas. I know there is still about 24 days to Christmas. But I'm already enthusiastic about it. Every year I felt the same way. This is probably the best time of the year where there is holiday and the shopping mall is playing my favourite Christmas songs! This is also the time where I would enjoy watching "Mr. Bean" and "Home Alone" together with my lil' brother.

I'm loving everything with a Christmas touch on it! Be it just a glitter or the Christmas tree itself. I really kind of hoping it would snow here, then I'll be the happy girl jumping around in the snow while building snowman outside my house :) Who else is excited for Christmas? I know I do ^.^

Thanksgiving + Black Friday

Yay! It's Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it ^.^ The funny thing is, I don't even celebrate Thanksgiving but still decided to dedicate one post of my blog just to talk about it. I hope you people don't mind :)

Actually, I've never care much about Thanksgiving or should I say I'm rather ignorant about it. I'm a late learner. I just found out today that Thanksgiving is celebrated every fourth Thursday in November. In the past, I just assume that some people celebrate Christmas while some celebrate Thanksgiving on 25th Dec annually. Okay, I admit my foolish mistake. It's still better late than never right? :D

There are many things that I'm thankful for. If I can just say one, that would be my FAMILY is still around with me. It's hard to imagine my life without them. They are the ones who will stick with me through thick and thin. Without them, I'll probably live the rest of my life without any hope. That's why family is so important to me.

The situation expected :)

The real situation today :O

People always associate Thanksgiving with turkey. Well, people also consume turkey for Christmas. Honestly, this is why I have the confusion between Christmas and Thanksgiving in the past! o_O Does turkey taste good? I heard people saying how turkey taste like chicken and roast pork. I wouldn't know because I've never tried it.

I wonder if this ever happened...

Another thing that I learned is Black Friday. I've always thought that Black Friday is the name people called it when they are sad, gloomy and emotional on Friday and they just stay at home doing nothing instead of having fun outside during the weekend. Believe it or not, that is what I really thought until yesterday! Today, I found out that Black Friday is the name given to the day after Thanksgiving. It's also the day where many people shop a lot especially for the coming Christmas.

Now that I've cleared my little confusions, I realised how ignorant I am. I should definitely try to enrich myself before I really become a laughingstock to others. Then I found this quote by Sandra Magsamen. ["Every day is an opportunity to learn something or discover something or someplace. Be curious, play, go out on a limb, walk a different way to work, try a new food at dinner and keep learning and growing"] It's so true. There must be some new things that we never knew before, unless you are a lamp!
