Hello December!

The deep realisation hits me when I woke up today. It's 1st of December 2012. How the time flies you say? I'd rather believed the time rocketed! I almost couldn't think how I spend my 2012. I just know one thing. 2012 is not a really productive year for me, but it has been a great year after all. I'm happy and thankful for being together with my family ^.^

While still enjoying my holiday, I went to attend my General Paper class today. I'm excited for seeing my friends again, but I don't have the mood to write essay (._.) So you know I went anyway, after finishing the essay, we have like a little fun activity there. We need to describe our friends and vote who got that special features. And I got the most votes when it comes to who has the kind look. I was like, "oh, thank you so much" in my heart. LOL Definitely a memorable experience for me :)

Like many other years, when December comes, I'll get so excited for Christmas. I know there is still about 24 days to Christmas. But I'm already enthusiastic about it. Every year I felt the same way. This is probably the best time of the year where there is holiday and the shopping mall is playing my favourite Christmas songs! This is also the time where I would enjoy watching "Mr. Bean" and "Home Alone" together with my lil' brother.

I'm loving everything with a Christmas touch on it! Be it just a glitter or the Christmas tree itself. I really kind of hoping it would snow here, then I'll be the happy girl jumping around in the snow while building snowman outside my house :) Who else is excited for Christmas? I know I do ^.^

Thanksgiving + Black Friday

Yay! It's Thanksgiving Day! Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it ^.^ The funny thing is, I don't even celebrate Thanksgiving but still decided to dedicate one post of my blog just to talk about it. I hope you people don't mind :)

Actually, I've never care much about Thanksgiving or should I say I'm rather ignorant about it. I'm a late learner. I just found out today that Thanksgiving is celebrated every fourth Thursday in November. In the past, I just assume that some people celebrate Christmas while some celebrate Thanksgiving on 25th Dec annually. Okay, I admit my foolish mistake. It's still better late than never right? :D

There are many things that I'm thankful for. If I can just say one, that would be my FAMILY is still around with me. It's hard to imagine my life without them. They are the ones who will stick with me through thick and thin. Without them, I'll probably live the rest of my life without any hope. That's why family is so important to me.

People always associate Thanksgiving with turkey. Well, people also consume turkey for Christmas. Honestly, this is why I have the confusion between Christmas and Thanksgiving in the past! o_O Does turkey taste good? I heard people saying how turkey taste like chicken and roast pork. I wouldn't know because I've never tried it.

I wonder if this ever happened...

Another thing that I learned is Black Friday. I've always thought that Black Friday is the name people called it when they are sad, gloomy and emotional on Friday and they just stay at home doing nothing instead of having fun outside during the weekend. Believe it or not, that is what I really thought until yesterday! Today, I found out that Black Friday is the name given to the day after Thanksgiving. It's also the day where many people shop a lot especially for the coming Christmas.

Now that I've cleared my little confusions, I realised how ignorant I am. I should definitely try to enrich myself before I really become a laughingstock to others. Then I found this quote by Sandra Magsamen. ["Every day is an opportunity to learn something or discover something or someplace. Be curious, play, go out on a limb, walk a different way to work, try a new food at dinner and keep learning and growing"] It's so true. There must be some new things that we never knew before, unless you are a lamp!

Skyfall

The title pretty much tells you everything :) Finally my brother and I went to watch Skyfall today and I can tell you the movie is definitely not disappointing. I just couldn't understand why some people rated such low stars on Skyfall. For me, Skyfall is a great movie!

I mentioned before that I'm not a fan of action-packed movies, but 007 series is definitely an exception! I love it when the actors who played James Bond said "My name is Bond, James Bond". I also love how charismatic they look when they wear that classic tuxedos!!

To think it's already 50 years since the first 007 movie in 1962. This year in 2012, marks the 50th anniversary of James Bond franchise. This just further proves that 007 is definitely the greatest movie of all time. I really wonder if the Bond fans 50 years ago still continue to be the Bond fans today. I think they will be more sentimental since they are the ones who's been attached to 007 since 50 years ago ^_^

I remember I was still that young little girl when I first started to watch 007. It was Pierce Brosnan's 007 movie! When I first saw him, I was literally blown away. He's so hot and he got that sexy gaze, if you know what I mean. Since then, I am officially an avid fan of 007 ^.^

Then the actor changed to Daniel Craig. Yes, no problem for me. I love him too! He is gorgeous as well especially his blue eyes. Ohhh~~

Sorry guys, I hope you don't mind reading what's written above. I just get excited while expressing my feelings towards James Bond ^_^

And and!! The theme song! I'll be totally honest with you guys. When I first heard "Skyfall" by Adele on youtube, I don't really like how it sounds. I was so upset that the great movie had such bad song as the theme song. It was after I watched Skyfall, then I realised the song has powerful emotion that totally matched with the movie. Now, I'm loving the song and probably will always do.

Last Paper!

Hello my lovely readers,

Are you wondering why I've been absent from my blog? It's because currently I'm still sitting for my AS Level exam which will ends TOMORROW!! You can probably tell that I'm feeling so excited right now :P

Another reason why I feel excited is because I got a date with my girlfriends tomorrow! We did see each other sometimes during the exam but we just couldn't catch up with each other. I do miss talking to them. So, gotta cure my friendsick soon! I got a feeling that tomorrow will be an awesome day! ^.^

 And a little random fact below. Is it true? ^__^

Birthday Celebration

According to Chinese Calendar, today is actually my 20th birthday. It took me by surprise when I realised that I'm 20 years old already! I'm not that young anymore...or should I say I'm growing old? Well, I guess the word "old" itself is still not applicable to me.

My Western birthday is on 13th October, which is five days away. I'm glad that I'm only 19 years old according to the Western System. I don't know about you, but I definitely feel younger when I have the word "teen" on my age. haha..

I wanted to make today more special, so I did my nails nicely yesterday. I french-tipped my nails with blush pink nail glitters. Thought that my nails look really cute and elegant.

By the way, I've been on diet since my last post. However, since today is so special to me, I skipped diet and started eating. And when I said I eat, I do eat a LOT. So it seems like my diet for days is of no use :)

Mum started by making me a bowl of mee sua. I like to call them longevity noodles since we Chinese people believe that mee sua represents long life. They taste awesome since Mum was the one who made them with what you call LOVE. haha..

Then, there is a cake for me :) Yay!! The great thing about it was the strawberries. The  big succulent strawberries just captured all my attention when I first saw the cake! Then when I eat one, I just wanted another and then another ^_^

I think I had a wonderful birthday today. It was not the rich daughter's grand birthday party, but I was happy to be around celebrating my birthday with my family ~ ^_^ ~

Before September Ends

Hey guys! I hope you all are doing fine ^_^ If you noticed (of course you noticed, what a weird question? o_O), September is going to end in just a few days. And I'm actually in the middle of my mock exam now. Will be having two last papers tomorrow. While being worried about how I do this exam, I'm actually pretty excited realizing tomorrow is the last day of the dreadful exam. That's why I'm facing my monitor and keyboard typing this. Not even studying :P haha

Okay okay, I'll study later. Now let me finish this post first. I'm sure many of you miss me. hehe Before that, I would like to thank my dear friends for wishing me plenty of good lucks for my exams. You guys made my day :) Love all of you~! Muackss!! Good luck in our real exam too ^_^

Few days ago, I saw the trailer of a movie, "House At The End Of The Street". I straight away knew that I had to watch it no matter what happen. The movie's genre is horror. Not the type that I would watch. But when I see the trailer, I just so obsessed with it. I still don't know when it is going to show here in Malaysia. But as soon as it got out, poof I'll went to watch it~! :)

And yeah, I started my diet again. Have been getting too much weight recently. Blame the food and college. You know I had to sit down to study after every meals I take. The internet made me fat too! It's making my butt growing rounder. LOL. I survive these days without exercising! Whoah!! You can imagine how round and plump I am now. o_O I'd warned you! Anyone who is going to meet up with me should be mentally prepared. haha

I think that's all for this post. Will be writing another interesting (hopefully) post soon :) And I'm thinking of changing my blog's layout too. Till then, take care.

BFF Outing At City Square

It's holiday! Yeah! And off we went to City Square! It's our first time together at CS although some of us might have been there with our families before. Congrats to us for not going to our "hometown" Jusco Tebrau for our outing this time. haha..

Mum drove us to CS although we wanted to go by bus this morning. I guess, mum really worried about us girls sitting public bus. Regardless, thank you mum!! ^_^

The first thing that we did after we arrived was buying our movie tickets. We debated a lot whether to watch Total Recall or The Bourne Legacy or Step Up! LOL Finally, The Bourne Legacy for the win!!

Then we went to the karaoke bar! We sang for 3 hours and get to eat the buffet there. The buffet was not really yummy by the way :( But we still enjoyed our time singing there.

I don't want Zhichin (who went to Malacca) to be left out, so let's see if I can find some pictures of her at karaoke :) I think those pictures were from two years ago when Redbox was still at our hometown. haha.. Look at how young we were that time. Looking innocent and stuff. LOL

After the singing session ends, we went for some shopping! We walk around and saw a couple quarreling with each other! The girl was banging her head on the door while the guy trying to  prevent her from doing so. The girl was crying and screaming o_O I know right? Sounds dramatic but it actually happens in real life anyway.

Jinyee wanted to find some earrings, so we walked around trying to find the earrings that she wants. After walking for what seems like 3 rounds of the whole shopping mall, we finally found those lucky earrings! LOL And yes, we are those typical girls, used up a lot of time choosing earrings. I think Huiling bought passport holder or something like that from the same shop.

I ended up buying two pairs of earrings and one nail color. I've been looking for this teal blue color for quite some time and I'm glad I found it. It's on the lighter side of teal blue color and looking pastel. Loving it!! ^_^ I think I'll be using it frequently LOL.

We had sushi for our tea-time. Sounds weird? haha.. The movie starts at 6.10pm, so we're in dilemma whether to have our dinner before or after the movie. We're afraid it would be too late if we're to dine after the movie. But mum said she can fetch us back, which means we don't need to go home by bus. Safer. So, we just had some sushi and not heavy food before the movie. We reckon we would had our wonderful dinner afterwards ^_^

Lunch With College Friends

Hello friends! I miss writing this blog so much. I think I've been away for...I don't know. haha.. I assume you guys miss me too? Especially my dear Lala. ^_^

I just finished my exam last week. Such a hard one! Been studying for it like crazy till my dark circles became even worse :( But, the exam is over! And holiday is coming! Yay!! I really look forward the upcoming holiday. Reason? Because I've been attending classes everyday except Sunday! Tired physically and mentally!!

Here's a little update about me :) So, after the exam, I hang out with my friends. We went to eat and play together. Wanted to get rid of the accumulated stresses lol.

Durians

It's durian season~!! I know right? I'm late for it LOL. Basically, I had fever when the season arrived. It's like I can smell the durian (my mum bought some), but I can't eat it. Such a terrible feeling :( I had fever up to 38.8°C on Friday night (22th June) and the next day was the Dumpling Festival. What?!! o_O Can't even eat dumplings for Dragon Boat Festival :(

While having fever: Forced to eat medicine which I hate. Head feeling dizzy all day. Body no energy. Everything at once! Luckily, there were still some good friends around to wish me fast recovery. Thank you, friends :)

Anyway, that's my history already. Today, I can eat those durians already. Yeah, ate a lot till I feel satisfied. Woohoo~~!! haha...

Snow White And The Huntsman

Although it's Saturday, I attended General Paper class in the morning. Blame the college for arranging the subject to be conducted every Saturday :( It's suppose to be a happy leisure weekend. LOL

Let's forget about the unhappiness. So, after class, I went home by bus as usual. Then, I started to prepare for the outing later. Took my own sweet time to bath and choosing dress LOL. Ended up rummaging my wardrobe. Typical girl~ haha..

After I finished preparing, I waited for Honyew to fetch me~!! :) Kokzhen came along with him. For the first time ever, I got to experience Honyew's driving skills. I was like, hmm..not bad at all ^_^ We went to Jusco Tebrau a.k.a our "hometown". haha..

After we reached there, we went for tea time at Lavender. We ordered some drinks and some kind of cheese baguette I think. Then, Huiling, Jinyee, Zhihui and Zhichin met up with us. For the first time, I saw Zhihui wearing such a high heel~!! As expected from a girl who is currently in romance LOL. Then, Huiling and Jinyee went to supermarket to buy some junk food while Zhihui and Zhichin bought some breads at Lavender.

Next, we walked over to the cinema. Why? To buy popcorn and coke of course!! Without them, watching a movie would feel incomplete. A little exaggeration there. haha.. What's next? Watching Snow White of course! And as usual, the girls dumped me to sit beside Honyew. It's okay. ^_^

While watching the movie, we would pass the popcorn like so many times. The guys don't really eat much of it but the girls different. We girls will munch and munch throughout the movie. haha.. By the way, Honyew keep wanting to feed Kokzhen the popcorn LOL. So adorable~

After the movie, it's our dinner time!! Honyew suggested Stone Grill which was fine with all of us. So, we went to dine there. Ordered many food. We're busy chit-chatting with each other. Apparently, there was this situation going on, where Honyew confessed his feelings to Jinyee~!! Somemore, he spoke so loud >_< He claimed to be speaking on another guy's (I don't know who is the guy) behalf. Well, we pretty much doubt it anyway. haha.. Good for the both of you ^_^

Happy 3rd Birthday!!

Look at how the time flies. My cousin, Johnny has grown this much. It felt like only yesterday I carried him when he was 5 or 6 months old. To think that was already 2 years ago. And today is his birthday. Happy Birthday Johnny~!! Wish you grow up well and healthy! :)

You can pretty much guess where I went today. Firstly, my two brothers and I went to have our meal at Mozzarella by the Sea. It's a restaurant located opposite Legian beach. Customers can dine while looking out over the beach. It's a wonderful combo :)
